Matthew combined both his barbering and football worlds until retiring from football in 2017 to focus and build his barbering business. Matt has over 11 years’ experience as a Barber, his extreme work ethic, attention to detail and welcoming manner is what he is best known for. Matts hunger for industry knowledge sent him straight back to education to complete a NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and also cut throat shaving.

Nicola started her working life as a scientist developing many of the products you use today, taking a small career break to have children she then retrained as a beauty therapist and went on to set up a beauty therapy business and has not looked back since. Nicola’s must please nature and passion for the industry quickly earned G27 its 5-star rating.
Nicola’s scientific background means she carefully researches and benchmarks every single product you see in the salon which is why team G27 lead the way in Huddersfield with their in-depth product knowledge and attention to detail.
