Due to our appointments being in such high demand we ask that our clients give us at least 48 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel, amend or reschedule their appointment which will enable us to try and refill the booking.
For specialised hair colours and advanced beauty services this notice extends to 4 days.
In instances where we do not receive the required notice for any cancellation, amendment or rescheduling, we reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of 100% of the booking fee.
Where possible, this fee will be taken automatically from any deposit paid, from the card used to book the appointment, or any card held on file from previous bookings. The fee will need to be paid before any future appointments can be booked.
Whilst it is difficult to fill cancelled appointments at short notice, we will endeavour to do so. If we can refill the appointment slot the fee can be used towards your rescheduled appointment with us or, if we are not able to provide the service for any reason, will be refunded.
If you do find that you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the salon directly as soon as possible.
Online / App Bookings
All bookings made online require a non-refundable deposit. If we do not receive 48 hours’ notice to amend, cancel or reschedule the appointment, we reserve the right to charge the card 100% of the service fee used to book the appointment.
Running Late
If you are running late we will do our best to fit you in but may not be able to provide the full service. This is to ensure we are not running late for clients with appointments after yours.
Allergy Patch Tests
For every client’s first colour service an allergy patch test will be required. This needs to be applied in the salon a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment (please take into account that we are closed every Sunday and bank holidays). If you experience any irritation or reaction to the test, you must contact us immediately and we may not be able to proceed with the service. If you arrive for your appointment without having had the patch test we will be unable to proceed with your colour service – and will reserve the right to charge a fee of £50. Repeat allergy patch tests are required every 6-12 months thereafter.
I’m a fully qualified level 3 beauty therapist and I have just recently started working at G27 after 5 years experience at another salon. My favourite part of being a beauty therapist is meeting new people and learning more to develop my skills as a beauty therapist. I love to be creative and enjoy coming up with new nail art ideas. I’m a lover of all animals and I love anything that’s fluffy and pink!
I have worked at G27 since it opened alongside my parents in some capacity. Two years ago during lockdown I completed an acrylic nail qualification. I have been studying Hair and Beauty for the last two years and once I pass this course I have opted to study Hair as this is my favourite.
After a stop start beginning to my hairdressing career I am approaching the end of my level 3 at the Link Academy. I am an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who has a passion for all aspects of hairdressing. Whilst working at G27 Hair & Beauty I have gained numerous qualifications at the Wella academy and I am now a Colour Craft Graduate. I have also spent the last 16 months mastering the craft of Hair Extensions which I love.
I am a Level 3 Beauty Therapist and Nail Technician with 5 years experience in both Spa and Salon environments. I specialise in HD Brows, Acrylic Extensions and Facials.
I am level 3 qualified in hairdressing. I have gained over 11 years experience both working in several salons and also owning and managing my own salon. I am a stylist, colourist and hair extension expert and I will always aim to give my clients the best service and experience possible. I want all my clients to leave with a happy experience and also feeling relaxed.
I started my working life as professional footballer and well before hanging up my boots I decided barbering was an obvious career choice for me because of my love of people and conversation. I combined both my barbering and football worlds for some time cutting hair outside of training hours and often cutting hair in the changing rooms. I opened the doors to G27 Barbering in 2012 and played part time until I finally retired from playing football in 2017 to focus and build my barbering business. I pride myself on my expertise offering a no fuss, honest advice service along with a wide range of hair cuts from no-nonsense grade ones, fades and full restyling aswell as beard trimming and traditional wet shaves. I have now racked up over 13 years’ experience as a Barber and I am also a level 2 hair stylist.
I started my working life as a scientist developing many of the products you use today, taking a small career break to have children I then retrained as a beauty therapist and started my first beauty therapy business in 2009 before opening the doors to G27 Hair & Beauty April 2014. My favourite treatments have to be HD Brows, Lash Lifts and electrical facials.
